Your name is DAVE STRIDER. You are a COOL KID who doesn't let anything bother you. You're also kind of a JERK. Your OLDER BROTHER is quite possibly the only person in the world who is cooler than you, so you sort of look up to him -- okay, you really look up to him. He is the biggest influence on your life, your mentor in the ways of COOLNESS, IRONY, and SWORD FIGHTING.

Everyone calls you DAVESPRITE, which actually sort of bothers you. Wait, didn't the narration just say that you don't let anything bother you? Oh yeah. That was a LIE. You are actually PRETTY INSECURE in a lot of ways, not that you would ever let anyone find that out. You worry that you can't live up to BRO's amazing legacy of awesome. You also worry that you're overshadowed by ALPHA DAVE, even though he totally wouldn't even be Alpha Dave if it weren't for you. That doesn't stop all of your friends from thinking he's the REAL DAVE and you're some kind of FAKE, though. Take all that, and add it together with how TIRED AND JADED you became after spending four months in a DOOMED TIMELINE which you then DESTROYED. Yeah.

Not that you act all that different from how you used to. You're still pretty fucking SARCASTIC, which is good not only for your love of irony but also for HIDING YOUR TRUE EMOTIONS from people. It would take something pretty terrible to get you to open up to someone. You can be BLUNT and ABRUPT in dealing with people, although you get EXCESSIVELY VERBOSE when you are applying SICK BURNS and coming up with RIDICULOUSLY CONVOLUTED ANALOGIES to insult people with.

You also think it's pretty cool that part of your DNA is made up of an animal whose collective noun is "murder".

The thing you fear most is DEATH. An undeniable rule of TIME TRAVEL is that only the ALPHA TIMELINE is allowed to proceed. Anyone who comes back from another timeline is considered "DOOMED" and will kick the bucket before long. You may have bought some time by PROTOTYPING yourself, but you don't have long for this world. This terrifies you.

You're also afraid of being left behind. Once Sburb finally ends, Alpha Dave and all of his friends will leave the MEDIUM and be happy together while you're left alone -- if you even SURVIVE. Everyone considers you just AN INFERIOR COPY of the real thing, after all. Don't they, Davesprite?

Although you're called a "Sprite", you are still mortal and fully capable of being HURT AND KILLED. However, whether a Sprite needs food, water, or sleep is something that's never elaborated on. ...Do you? Come on, you can tell us.

Mentally, your biggest weakness is your CRIPPLING INSECURITY. You hide it pretty well behind A MASK OF UNEMOTIONAL COOLNESS, but you're always worried about not living up to Bro or to Alpha Dave. You also worry that you can't do anything more to help your friends succeed. Despite being a FLOATING FEATHERY CREAMSICLE, you are just a TEENAGER, after all.

==> Mundane Strengths/Abilities:

Your STRIFE SPECIBUS is BLADEKIND. You are extremely agile -- in part due to the ridiculous training regimen Bro raised you with, and in part to being a Sprite.

You are also a SKILLED MUSICIAN, displaying considerable proficiency with TURNTABLES and in dropping PHAT RHYMES on a dime. This will have absolutely NO RELEVANCE WHATSOEVER in Portes.

As your name implies, you are a SPRITE. Your abilities include FLOATING AND FLYING, PHASING through objects, using "SPRITE POWERS" for VANDALISM, and the ability to be summoned via a PENDANT which you currently wear around your neck. You also have mystical Sprite knowledge of SBURB, not that it does you any good in Portes.
